'Corn Field'
'Corn Field'

I had another trip out to the Wolds with Mr M a couple of weekends ago. I have added a 120 Macro to my arsenal and also swapped out my 150 for a lovely fujinon 180, better splitting my 125 and 240 fujinons. It is tiny and has quite reasonable coverage.

The image above was the first go with it: a lovely cornfield close to where we had parked near Bishop Wilton. The usual tilts to run the plane of focus over the top of the field. Despite the popularity of the subject I quite like the image - the field must have been a few days from being cut and I like the the slightly muted/pastel like colour.

Earlier that morning we had gone to Bishop Wilton to play with our favourite tree. It really is remarkable and deserves a whole portfolio to itself. I made a couple of wavey images with the 120 Macro - I am really beginning to like this lens and am getting a feel for when to use it compared to my 240:
