'Weldrake Ings'
The Ings in Yorkshire are an amazing sight when in full flood. The Ing featured in this image is close to my home and is on the edge of the Weldrake Ings nature reserve.
This particular saturday was a sublime afternoon with stunning light and the atmospheric sight of numerous geese flying and circling the ings above. An amazing experience and both images I made that afternoon came close to capturing the feel of the place.
The back standard was set level and the composition achieved by front movements, ensuring that the reflected posts were symmetrical.
Technical Details: Linhof Technikardan, 240mm lens. #8 filter. Ilford Delta 100 film developed with diluted FX-39 in a HP Combi Plan with minimal agitation to achieve compensating development.

Black and White
My latest Black and White Project started in late summer 2012. Images made on the TK using Ilford Delta 100 sheet film and developed at home.
